The internet is rife with people saying that HCG isn't safe, it isn't effective, and most slanderous of all, it's illegal. Not only are these untrue, they represent a lack of understanding about the program as a whole. Let's address each one of these issues.

Safety- HCG has been used by thousands of people in the last 60 years and has been shown to be incredibly safe. 1 in 300 women can demonstrate a mild nausea with the program. Our patients who have experienced this elected to continue with the program without any problems and experienced the same fantastic results. 

Efficacy- HCG allows the body to burn fat for energy, and it does just that. Some studies look at HCG with a normal diet and say that it doesn't burn fat. That is just the point, you must follow the correct diet to foster the metabolic environment for this to work. ChiroHCG is not a stimulant and will not force the body to do anything. When used as directed it allows fat to be burned easily.

Legality- Under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act  of 1994, the government allowed supplements to be self regulated as long as they were not claimed to treat or manage a disease. HCG does not treat or prevent or cure any disease, therefore it is not intended to be a drug and therefore it does not violate DSHEA. HCG is not listed in the homeopathic pharmacopoeia because it is not a classical homeopathic remedy. This in no way means that it is illegal, it simply means that the pharmacopoeia is not inclusive of all products used in homeopathic preparation in the United States.

The backlash by mainstream medicine and even the media against HCG is simply a money issue. HCG as a weight management program could help the United States become tremendously healthier. This means less pharmaceutical drug use and less money in the pockets of the drug companies. Comparing Bariatric weight loss surgery and/or liposuction to HCG, there is no question about safety; HCG can very rarely cause nausea while a potential side effects of Bariatric Surgery and Liposuction - culturally well accepted interventions - are severe infection and  DEATH.  The HCG program is safe, effective and legal, and the results speak for themselves.
